Alexandra holds an international Master’s Double Degree in “Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering” from the University of Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, Austria and Lincoln University, New Zealand. Her master thesis addressed the resilience of family farms in mountainous regions and their role in rural development. She specialised in natural resources management, rural development and family farming as well as sustainable tourism. Her core competencies lie in project management, organisation of events and research. With her environmental background she widened the research interest of Oikodrom by adding rural sustainability to its agenda.

At Oikodrom Alexandra worked on grant applications for future research projects with special emphasis on coordination and project management, assists in the research project NOPOOR and takes over duties of the executive assistant. Right at the start of her time at Oikodrom she was involved in the organisation of the SPACES conference in Vienna.
